Thanks so much to all who made this workshop possible -- our amazing speakers, panelists, and survey takers!
We are warmed by the support from the community and their eagerness to help evaluate past procedures and brainstorm new implementations for bettering the review processes and experiences for future architectural conference submitters, reviewers, and organizers.

Overview
The goal of this workshop is to facilitate an open discussion on best practices for evaluating research contributions in the field of computer architecture, and on best approaches in organizing and facilitating the overall manuscript’s evaluation process. While our community’s assessment practices have served us well, we believe that it is essential that we continue to revisit them as a community, to validate our assumptions and continue to strengthen them. To this end, we seek to enable an open discussion on how well those practices are adapting to the growth in our community and to the evolution of our field and of science/engineering more broadly. The goal for these discussions is to inform future evaluation practices so to allow our community to continue flourishing and attracting talented young scientists.
As a starting point for this workshop’s discussion, we will be conducting a survey of the review process among published authors and reviewers, and we will be presenting the results of the survey at the workshop. Representatives of the various stakeholders will provide insights and enable an initial exchange of experiences and opinions as they relate to potential improvements or suggestions.
